We regret to report that summer is sadly nearing its end. Fortunately, there’s a full slate of fashion news and collaborations to whet your palette until Labor Day hits—and maybe even get you psyched for fall. Starting off with Loewe’s spacious new East Hampton store and Mother’s vintage-inspired capsule collection, “Lost & Found,” here’s everything you need to know—and buy—this August so far. Keep checking back for more.

Who: Loewe

What: New store

Where: 20 Main Street, East Hampton, NY

Why: Like the rest of the fashion crowd, Loewe is putting down roots out east—specifically on Main Street in East Hampton. The Spanish house’s new 3,000-square-foot retail space features signature codes, along with eco-friendly store displays made using recyclable blocks. Expect the latest collections, bags, and even some special objects, like a pair of pots by Japanese straw artist and Loewe Craft Prize 2018 finalist ARKO.

Who: Mother

What: “Lost & Found” collection

Where: Online at motherdenim.com

Why: Fall is just around the corner—and Mother is ushering in the new season with a vintage-tinged 11-piece capsule collection, “Lost & Found,” which references throwback styles from the ’70s and ’80s. (Think: trucker hats, two-tone tops, and dark-wash denim.) We love the retro stripes on this fitted crewneck tee in particular.
